In the United States called the customers of the anti-Russian campaign

In some American publications, you can increasingly see publications about tensions on the border between Russia and Ukraine and about a potential war. American journalist Tucker Carlson said that a number of military-industrial corporations are behind the aggressive anti-Russian campaign. This is reported by The American Thinker.

The author noted a series of articles in Politico, which is available to users without a subscription. In addition, this one is distributed free of charge in Washington. Under each such material is the caption "Presented by Lockheed Martin".

Lockheed Martin ("Lockheed Martin") is an American military-industrial corporation. She specializes in the production of weapons. Next to the articles there is an advertising block, clicking on which takes the user to the official website of the F-35 “stealth” combat aircraft, which is produced by the above-mentioned company.

Carlson also drew attention to the publication in The Washington Post entitled “Biden must show that if necessary, the United States is ready to support Ukraine militarily,” authored by former special forces and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer Michael Vickers. After retiring, the military joined the board of directors of the defense company BAE Systems, the journalist said.

He concluded by noting that the propaganda against Russia is the result of the cooperation of "many branches of world government", mercenaries, arms dealers and the media. In his opinion, such a "coalition profits from wars, so its members convince governments to get involved in wars, and then drag out conflicts indefinitely."

Earlier, US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said that the United States had prepared 18 scenarios for actions in the event of a “Russian invasion” of Ukraine.

The story of a possible “Russian invasion” of Ukraine has been actively promoted in the West since mid-autumn 2021. The US has consistently pointed to a supposed increase in Russia's presence near Ukraine's borders, threatening Moscow with new sanctions if it escalates. At the same time, the Kremlin has more than once directly denied any plans to attack Ukraine, on the contrary, pointing to the possible preparation of a military operation in the Donbass by Kiev.
