Tesla Allows One Cryptocurrency for Payments

American electric car manufacturer Tesla has begun accepting Dogecoin cryptocurrency to pay for branded goods with brand symbols. This was reported on the company's website.

It is noted that currently only one cryptocurrency is accepted for payment when selling such goods. “Tesla only accepts Dogecoin. Tesla cannot receive or determine any other digital assets,” reads the Support section.

The company’s website states that users will need a configured Dogecoin wallet to make a purchase in the Tesla store. The section also clarifies that all Dogecoin purchases are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable. Tesla concluded that a transaction may be subject to a fee, depending on where exactly the buyer stores his Dogecoin.
