Russian cosmonauts noticed strange dust flying out of the ISS

Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov, while working in outer space, noticed strange dust flying out of the hatch of the Poisk module of the ISS. They announced this during a broadcast on the Roscosmos website.

“Anton, have you noticed that some kind of dust is flying from the hatch?” the ground specialist asked Shkaplerov.

The astronaut replied that he really saw some dust.

Earlier, the press service of Roscosmos stated that cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov, who are now at the International Space Station, found the possible last leak in the intermediate chamber of the Zvezda module on the ISS.

The state corporation clarified that the means to eliminate leakage will be delivered to the ISS on the nearest Progress, after which the astronauts will eliminate the leak.

Prior to this, the general director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that new problems with equipment and the hull were discovered at the International Space Station.

The head of the state corporation said that he had already been informed that the cosmonauts imagine how to “cure” the discovered problems.
