Analysts of the Yandex.Travel service compiled a rating of the most expensive hotels that Russians booked for the New Year. The most expensive foreign hotel turned out to be Four Seasons in Sharm el-Sheikh, and within the country - "Villa Zdorovye" in Sochi, the company told "y".

At Four Seasons in Sharm el-Sheikh, tourists spent 1.5 million rubles for an eight-night trip for two. The second place in the rating of foreign holidays was taken by a reservation at the Abidos Hotel Apartment in Dubai (UAE) for 1.2 million - this amount was spent by a company with children for 12 nights. In third place is Katathani Phuket Beach Resort on the island of Phuket in Thailand - 470 thousand rubles were spent on the hotel for nine nights for one. Also in the top ten most expensive hotels are hotels in Bulgaria, the Dominican Republic and Turkey.

In Russia, about 630 thousand rubles were paid for five nights at Villa Zdorovye in Sochi - the Yandex.Travel press release does not indicate how many tourists were booked at the hotel. The second place was taken by another Sochi hotel, the Radisson Collection Paradise Resort & SPA. Nine nights in it cost two tourists almost 470 thousand rubles. The third place in the rating is a vacation for a family with children at the Radisson Hotel in Rosa Khutor for 430 thousand for ten nights. Also in the top 10 of the rating were bookings at hotels in Rostov-on-Don, Zelenogorsk and Arkhyz.

As noted in Yandex.Travel, the most expensive hotel reservations in Russia for the New Year were, as expected, in Sochi and the Krasnodar Territory. Outside the region, they spent the most on holidays in Rostov-on-Don - there, a holiday at the Canyon Hotel cost 380 thousand rubles. Also, about 340 thousand rubles were spent by tourists for living in the sanatorium “First Line. Health Care Resort" in the Leningrad region. In Moscow, the most expensive booking cost 90,000 rubles for a single room for six nights at the Holiday Inn Moscow Sokolniki.
