Sony Spartacus will offer games from all generations of PlayStation consoles, including even PSP

New rumors have appeared about the Sony Spartacus service, which is predicted to be a competitor to the Xbox Game Pass.

New data suggests that Spartacus will be more like Nintendo Switch Online than Game Pass. It will be a service that will combine the PS Plus subscription and the PS Now cloud platform.

It is said that Spartacus will also offer old games released for the first PlayStation. To be more precise, we are talking about about a hundred games for this console, some games for PS3 and for PS4. And later there should be games for PS2 and PSP. At the same time, PS3 games will be available in the service through the cloud platform, since it is too difficult to port them due to the architecture of the old console. There is no such information about games for other generations of the PlayStation.

But new games will not appear in Spartacus on the day of release, but no one expected this. Still, Sony and Microsoft have completely different approaches in this matter.
