Yandex.Delivery enters the long-distance logistics market

From February 2022, the service will help companies organize logistics between cities. Now online stores can deliver orders via Yandex.Delivery to more than 900 cities in 54 regions.

Yandex has optimized delivery stages so that parcels move faster between regions. Auto couriers pick up goods from stores and warehouses of sellers every day, orders are consolidated at four distribution centers in the Moscow region. After the sorting centers, the parcels are sent by trucks to warehouses in the cities of destination. From there, they are picked up by city couriers and delivered to the buyer or to the nearest pick-up point available to him (one of 7,000).

Both buyers and senders at all stages see the status of the package in the Yandex Go application. In it, they can change the time and place of delivery, chat with the courier and support. Buyers can pay in advance and pay upon receipt - in cash or by credit card.

Goods from Moscow warehouses can be received by buyers from the Moscow region in 24 hours and a little later in other regions: St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Maikop and others . Delivery between cities is available for thousands of Yandex.Delivery corporate clients, including small companies. This service can be activated from February for a business of any size.
