The teenager received 5 years in prison in the case of the “FSB explosion in Minecraft”

16-year-old Nikita Uvarov from the city of Kansk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was sentenced by a military court to 5 years in prison on charges of undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities. This was reported by the head of the human rights organization "Agora" Pavel Chikov. It is reported that Uvarov was taken into custody in the courtroom.

The other two juvenile defendants are exonerated, allegedly because they cooperated with the investigation.

Three schoolchildren, then 14 years old, were detained in 2020 after putting up leaflets in support of Azat Miftakhov, a suspect in cases of making an explosive device, who was sentenced in January 2021 to six years in prison. One of the leaflets ended up on the FSB building.

Employees of the power department took away the phones from the children, got access to the correspondence in which they spoke negatively about the Russian authorities and law enforcement agencies. Among other things, schoolchildren built the FSB building in the Minecraft computer game and "planned to blow it up for fun." The investigation also gained access to videos in which teenagers make fire in abandoned buildings and blow up firecrackers. After that, they were accused of undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities.
