The developer of the Sims Maxis series of games has introduced a new add-on for Sims 4 "Wedding Stories", but the Russians will not be able to see it. The company announced this on its official blog.

The fact is that in the supplement there is an LGBT couple Dominica and Camilla, "whose love knows no bounds." According to the studio and publisher of the games series Electronic Arts, they would have to cut or replace some of the content for release in Russia, but they decided not to do this.

“In the process of creating the set and developing the Dominica and Camille storyline, we realized that we would not be able to freely tell the story of Dom and Cam in all countries of the world. At the core of our work at The Sims is the ability to create any story without limits... So what does this mean for you, our players? Since we cannot tell the story of Cam and Dom without significant changes, we have decided not to release Wedding Stories in Russia,” the game developers wrote.
