SuperJob poll: half of Russians are ready to tie salaries to the dollar or euro

On February 14, 2022, the job search and recruitment service Superjob summed up the results of a survey among 1,600 working citizens from all over the country. The study revealed that half of Russians would like to tie their salary to the dollar or euro. Earlier, in similar surveys in 2015 and 2020, only a third of respondents wanted to fix their salary in foreign currency.

The survey was conducted from February 1 to February 11 among representatives of the economically active population in 389 settlements of the country.

When asked about linking their ruble salary to the currency, 47% of respondents answered positively. Moreover, the majority of those who answered so are men under 34 years old.

31% of respondents believe that they are satisfied with the ruble, since they mostly spend everything in Russia. For the most part, this is a male population between the ages of 35 and 44.

Only 16 respondents' salaries were already tied to the exchange rate.
