54 more Chinese apps that may pose a danger to the country's national security are banned by the Indian government

The Indian government has blacklisted 54 more Chinese apps that could pose a risk to the country's national security. It is worth noting that this is far from the first ban on Chinese apps in the country.

The Indian government banned around 60 apps back in 2020 and added 60 more apps to the blacklist a few months later. Now the government has banned more than 50 apps, including clones of those previously blocked in the country. There is no complete list of applications banned in the country, but sources call the popular battle royale game Garena Free Fire.

Another source claims the banned apps include: Sweet Selfie HD, Beauty Camera - Selfie Camera, Equalizer & Bass Booster, CamCard for SalesForce Ent, Isoland 2: Ashes of Time Lite, Viva Video Editor, Tencent Xriver, Onmyoji Chess, Onmyoji Arena, AppLock, Dual Space Lite and more.

How these applications can threaten the national security of the country, the source does not specify.
