GESAward 2021
On December 2, the semi-final of the international competition for technological startups in education GESAward 2021 was held in an online format. Our team took first place and qualified for the final and GESA bootcamp in London in January. On behalf of Uchi.ru, the presentation was led by Gayane Simonyan, head of the department for the development of Uchi.ru Olympiads.
As noted by Gayane, it was exciting to represent the company, but it was interesting: “Of course, I was preparing, it was not an improvisation. I wrote a long text and struggled to delete what did not fit in the allotted three minutes. I wanted to tell as much as possible, because everything seemed important. " Of the advantages of the online format, she notes the ability to peep into the text, but there is also a big disadvantage: “The lack of gestures and the inability to address people directly. In live performances, it's still important to keep in touch with the audience. "
Semifinal participants presented projects in different segments of online education and talked about their technological solutions. The overall level was very high. “After completing the presentation, I was sure that I told everything I wanted. If I were on the jury, it would be interesting for me to study the company in more detail, ”says Gayane.

We are holding this competition in the Year of Science and Technology together with ANO "National Priorities" in order to captivate children with science and technology, to interest and inspire them for their own scientific achievements.
Recruitment case and India
We took second place at the IT HR Awards in the Recruitment Case nomination. Here were presented projects that helped companies to independently solve the problem of hiring employees for a certain period of time.
Our case about recruiting specialists in India was presented by recruiter Dasha Kuznetsova: “To be honest, I expected that the jury would appreciate my performance, because the history of remote international recruiting is interesting and unusual for recruitment in itself, but the victory that happened turned out to be a pleasant bonus and still a surprise.
