Chery has started selling the updated seven-seater crossover Tiggo 8 in Russia. So far, it is available in the only Prestige configuration at a price of 2 million rubles.
The new Chery Tiggo received a modified radiator grille, made in the form of dotted volumetric lines, and daytime running lights are made in the form of four parallelograms. The new version adds long-awaited features requested by users. This is a panoramic roof, multi-color atmospheric lighting and electric adjustment for the front passenger seat in four directions. In addition, the resolution of the surround view cameras has been improved.
The crossover received a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 147 hp, as well as a 6-band “robot” and front-wheel drive. 2-liter engine with 170 hp the company no longer offers.
Later, a more affordable Family package will be added to the line. It will not have a panoramic roof, lighting and power seats. There will be LED optics, front and rear parking sensors, all-round visibility, two driving modes, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and a full winter package, leather interior, 18-inch alloy wheels.
Before the update, Tiggo 8 cost a maximum of 1,939,900 rubles in the version with a 2-liter engine. And with a 1.5-liter engine, the cost of the car was 1,889,900 rubles.
