Russian men called Yennefer from The Witcher the most attractive character in games. Such data are contained in the results of the survey received by the Skillbox educational platform and the ResearchMe analytical agency.
It is noted that almost every third Russian (29%) admitted that he was in love with the sorceress, who is one of the central characters in the Witcher saga by Andrzej Sapkowski. Tomb Raider's Lara Croft took second place in the total male votes with 27%, while The Witcher's Triss Merigold came third with 19%.
The most attractive character among women was the main character of The Witcher Geralt. About a quarter (22%) of Russian women voted for a monster hunter with superhuman powers. Approximately one in five girls (17%) consider Captain Shepard from Mass Effect attractive, and 16% of respondents - Captain America from Marvel.
The Witcher is also recognized as the most popular game among men (21%), and the favorite project among the female audience was The Sims series (20%).
Also, 44% of Russians noted that the choice of the gender of the game character does not matter. At the same time, 47% of men and 41% of women admitted that they prefer to play for characters of their gender. Only 13% and 12%, respectively, choose heroes of the opposite sex.
Earlier, the developer of the Sims Maxis series of games introduced a new add-on for Sims 4 "Wedding Stories", but the Russians will not be able to see it. The company explained this by the fact that the LGBT couple Dominica and Camilla will appear in the project.
