Smartphone control became available for most Hyundai models in Russia

Hyundai has updated the model range for the Russian market and expanded the list of additional available equipment.

Among other changes, starting February 16, buyers of all new 2022 Hyundai vehicles will be able to take advantage of Bluelink's proprietary telematics services, which open up the possibility of remotely interacting with the car using a smartphone.

Until now, Bluelink services have been available for Hyundai Creta and Tucson crossovers. Telematics will now be available on new 2022 vehicles, including the Elantra and Sonata sedans, the Santa Fe and Palisade crossovers, and the new Staria minivan, which goes on sale February 17 this year.

Thus, all Hyundai models presented on the Russian market, except for the Solaris sedan, will support Bluelink services.

With Bluelink, the owner can remotely start and stop the engine, control the climate control, lock and unlock doors, and close windows. Also, the user receives push notifications to the smartphone when a regular alarm is triggered or if the car doors are left unlocked. On a smartphone, you can view data on the technical condition of the car, information about traffic jams and estimated time of arrival, information about the location of the nearest gas stations and the cost of fuel at them, information about points of interest (POI), video from all-round cameras, and much more.
