Russian manufacturer of mayonnaise presented unmanned aerotaxi

Efko Group of Companies, manufacturer of Sloboda mayonnaise, presented a prototype of its own unmanned aerotaxi called Hi-Fly Taxi, which allows you to fly up to 15 km and carry goods weighing up to 120 kg.

Hi-Fly Taxi is equipped with 16 electric motors in two planes (top and bottom), while it remains fully controllable even if up to 4 motors fail. The prototype uses lithium-ion batteries, but alternative energy sources will be installed for use in extreme cold conditions.

Already in May, the prototype made its first manual flight, and in October it was transferred to unmanned mode. Next year, Hi-Fly Taxi will fly on dedicated routes in the Belgorod region for a distance of up to 50 km. Efko is also working on the entire infrastructure for the commercial use of its vehicles, including landing sites, service and command and control centers.

Already, the company has spent over 1 billion rubles creating its own design bureau, building an experimental flight center, a composite materials workshop, an assembly workshop, a testing center and an additive technology laboratory.

There are also plans to create medical, fire-fighting, evacuation, police and other modifications. In 2024, they plan to start mass production of air taxi with the following characteristics: cruising range - 600 km, carrying capacity - 220 kg, battery life - 180 minutes, speed - up to 300 km / h.
