In the future, AI will be involved in checking essays at the Unified State Examination, said Mikhail Burtsev, AIRI Director for Fundamental Research and Chairman of the Scientific Coordination Council of the Research Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence Systems at MIPT.

“We are already creating such AI and invite partners who are ready to create the future with us, based on our technology. After all, it can be used not only for literacy testing within the Unified State Examination, but also for a wider range of word processing tasks,” Burtsev shared.

According to him, they have already managed to create a system that can check essays from the exam in English on behalf of a person. This will help relieve the burden on teachers.

In an interview, Burtsev also spoke about the fact that AI can simulate the evolution of the coronavirus, and the appearance of the “omicron” could be predicted.
