Nvidia's new graphics card will get 2GB of memory and support for ray tracing? GeForce MX550 lit up in the test

Nvidia is preparing to release the most affordable discrete graphics card of the Ampere generation. It will be the mobile GeForce MX550.

The adapter lit up in a Lenovo PC tested in Geekbench. The name of the video card is not indicated there, so the MX550 is the presumable name of the new product.

But it says that it has only 2 GB of memory, the GPU runs at a frequency of 1.5 GHz and contains 2048 CUDA cores. This speaks to the use of GPU GA107, which also underlies the mobile RTX 3050. The bus will probably be cut down to 64 bits.

It can also be assumed that the MX550 will retain support for ray tracing. In terms of performance, in Geekbench it is 15% higher than in the MX450, but you have to wait for tests in games.
