First Smartphone with RAID 0

The more we learn about the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone, the more unusual it seems.

We recently learned that the smartphone will be equipped with both UFS 3.1 flash memory and a 128 GB SSD. But Lenovo has now clarified that these components will be combined into a RAID 0 array for the first time for a smartphone, allowing for up to 50% faster write speeds. Whether this is really necessary in real conditions is still difficult to say, but at least this is something new.

Lenovo also confirmed that the Legion Y90 will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and LPDDR5 RAM. Also, the smartphone was credited with a 144-Hz screen, a 5600 mAh battery and two fans. The announcement of the novelty will take place on February 28.
