Want Android apps on Windows 11? You will have to prepare a PC with a productive CPU, at least 8 GB of RAM and an SSD:

Microsoft recently released an update to Windows 11 that, among other things, brings long-awaited support for Android apps.

And now, a few days after the release of the update, it became known that this feature has its own system requirements, and higher than those of Windows 11 itself.

To run Android apps, you will need a PC with 8 GB of RAM, and this is the minimum amount, while the recommended amount is already 16 GB. You also need an SSD.

There are also processor requirements. Any basic CPU will not work. If we are talking about Intel processors, then this should be at least Core i3, for AMD it should be any processor of the last two generations (Ryzen 3000 or Ryzen 5000), and you can also use a PC based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c or a more powerful Arm solution.

The Microsoft website says that the PC must meet the specified requirements. At the same time, it is not yet clear whether Windows 11 will simply not allow an Android application to run on a computer where at least some requirement will not be fulfilled.
