The experts of the Avtostat agency shared interesting statistics, having analyzed the structure of the new passenger car market in various regions of Russia.
It turns out that today 90% of new cars purchased by residents and guests of Moscow are equipped with an automatic gearbox. However, in this regard, the capital is not a leader in Russia.
In particular, in the Primorsky Territory, new cars with automatic gearboxes account for 91% of all new cars. Moscow is in second place in this indicator.
They are followed by the Moscow region, where 84% of buyers prefer new cars with automatic transmission, St. Petersburg (83%), Khabarovsk Territory (82%) and Sakhalin (80%).
On average, 66% of cars with automatic gearboxes are sold in Russia.
