Musk promised to convert carbon dioxide from the atmosphere into rocket fuel

Entrepreneur Elon Musk, named the Man of the Year by Time magazine the day before, said in his Twitter account that his company SpaceX was launching a program to use carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and convert it into rocket fuel.

"Please join if you're interested," Musk wrote. The founder of Tesla and SpaceX clarified that the implementation of this program can be useful in the exploration of Mars - the planet's atmosphere is 95% carbon dioxide.

On December 13, Time magazine named Elon Musk the person of the year. In the article dedicated to the businessman, among other things, journalists noted that he became one of the pioneers in the field of mass production of electric vehicles, "long before the rest saw the demand" for the use of clean energy in the transport industry.

In 2020, Musk announced plans to fly to Mars - according to him, SpaceX is going to land a person on the planet within six years (or four, "if you're lucky"). Time wrote that few people have had a greater impact on life on Earth and possibly beyond than Musk.
