VIA Technologies has announced the release of the VIA SOM-9X35 Starter Kit. According to the manufacturer, the kit allows you to accelerate the entry into the market of peripheral artificial intelligence (AI) devices. Offering a flexible high-performance platform based on a MediaTek i350 quad-core processor running at 2.00GHz Cortex-A53 cores, the starter kit comes with a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel LCD touchscreen display, a 13-megapixel HD camera module, dual speakers and microphone. It supports dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 10/100Mbps Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G (optional) for a wide range of use cases. There are also HDMI, MIPI DSI and MIPI CSI interfaces.
