In November, the Changan Uni-V liftback was shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show, and in January, the first version of the car became available for preview in China for $21,000. Chinese observers dubbed the car "Chinese Audi A7". Since it is a liftback, the Changan Uni also competes with the Skoda Octavia. Dimensions are 4680 x 1838 x 1430 mm with a wheelbase of 2750 mm.
Changan Uni-V is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 188 hp. and an eight-speed automatic transmission. A version with a 2.0-liter engine will be available later. In both cases, the Super Race mode will be available - an analogue of the Sport modern cars.
The shape of the body and the retractable spoiler help to reduce air resistance. The spoiler adds up to 25 kg of downforce to the car while driving. An electric spoiler is not standard, adding $790 to the price.
The maximum speed is fixed at around 205 km / h. The car also received dynamic torque control technology, which improves the car's handling both in urban conditions and in long turns on the autobahn. In addition, Uni-V may offer a new driver assistance system, as well as the bbabo.netA 6.0 remote control function.
Changan Uni-V received an oval steering wheel and a camera that recognizes the driver by his face and monitors his physical condition during the trip. The car also has retractable door handles.
