Tesla cars will soon be able to drop you off at the entrance and park on their own: details about the Reverse Summon feature

American car manufacturer Tesla is currently testing an "automatic parking" feature that, as the name suggests, will allow cars to automatically park in the right place.

Called Reverse Summon, the feature will be part of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) package and will be an evolution of the Smart Summon feature. The smart call feature can give instructions to the vehicle when the owner does not want to go to a parking space. This feature will allow the vehicle to drive to the location of the owner.

Once the "callback" feature becomes available, it's sure to be very popular. For example, in rainy weather, drivers are more likely to get off at the entrance to a shopping center or an office building next to an open parking lot.

Users will be able to order the car to stop closest to the entrance, next to carts near the supermarket or at the end of the parking lot. This feature is different from the existing Autopark, which can only be used when the driver is in the car.

According to NotaTeslaApp, Tesla is testing this feature, and the company's engineers are working hard to release it as soon as possible. According to some insiders, when this feature launches on vehicles with FSD, it may have a different name, such as Smart Park.

As we already reported, the Tesla autopilot will not be allowed in Europe so easily: the system is being carefully studied in Germany and the Netherlands.
