Cases Sharkoon MS-Y1000 and MS-Z1000 differ in the pattern of ventilation holes on the front panel

Sharkoon Technologies introduced the MS-Y1000 and MS-Z1000 cases designed for mini-ITX and microATX motherboards. In fact, this is one model in two varieties, differing in the pattern of ventilation holes on the front panel. In both cases, four fans are pre-installed in the case. They should provide optimal cooling, and the slots on the front panel should ensure a constant flow of air into the case. Two 120mm fans are located under the top bezel, one 120mm on the bottom, and one 80mm on the back. An optional 120mm fan can be installed on the bottom panel. The left sidebar is divided into two parts. One is made of tempered glass, the other is made of metal sheet with slots. Parts can be interchanged by installing glass from above or below.

Despite the compact form factor, large components can be installed inside. The power supply up to 160 mm long is located in the upper part of the case. A 240mm radiator up to 55mm high (including fans) can be installed next to it. You can also install up to three 2.5-inch drives or one 3.5-inch drive in the case. The maximum allowable height of the processor cooler is 135 mm, the length of expansion cards is 360 mm.

With the optional Compact VGCK Kit, graphics cards up to 27 cm long can be mounted vertically in the MS-Y1000 or MS-Z1000. Vertical mounting avoids card flex and allows for better presentation of illuminated elements such as an RGB-lit GPU cooler.

Case dimensions - 425 x 170 x 362 mm, weight - 5.7 kg. The I / O panel has a pair of USB 3.0 connectors, headphone and microphone jacks.

The MS-Y1000 and MS-Z1000 cases are available in black and white. The black ones are offered at a MSRP of 80 euros, the white ones at a MSRP of 85 euros. The Compact VGCK holder is available at a MSRP of 35 EUR.
