The international exhibition "Expo-2020" is being held in Dubai, in which several hundred companies, both domestic and foreign, take part. The exhibition itself is held every five years; representatives of companies from dozens of countries gather and show their achievements there. The main idea of Expo 2020 is: “We unite minds and create the future”. According to the organizers, this idea should be realized through the implementation and development of sustainable development goals and innovative technologies, which were shown to visitors by the exhibition participants.
Several Russian companies have received prestigious awards this year. The majority are members of the Skolkovo Foundation, including the I-Teco Innovation Center, BioFoodLab and G-Core Labs. More details about the projects for which the companies have received awards - in the sequel.
Who won and why?
The first company, I-Teco Innovation Center, won in the IT and Digital Technologies category in the Social Innovation of the Year nomination. She develops software solutions and implements full-cycle software testing projects on various hardware and software systems. The main areas of the company's work are the automation of business processes using systems with adaptive logic, the integration of data and knowledge using cloud web technologies, solutions to reduce operational risks.BioFoodLab won the Foodtech Breakthrough of the Year nomination. It produces non-animal food products for adults and children based on its own innovative developments.
G-Core Labs won the Time to Innovate 2021 award in the Cloud category. G-Core Labs is the cloud and edge leader in content delivery, public cloud, hosting and security services for any business. The company entered the Guinness Book of Records. G-Core Labs managed to build its own infrastructure with the best performance indicators - the network has 140+ points of presence located in Tier III and Tier IV data centers.
