Twitter has introduced the function of automatically creating subtitles for videos

Twitter has launched an automatic subtitle generation feature for new videos. This function will not work in old ones. Subtitles will be available for iOS and Android users and through browsers.

So the official Twitter account says:

“Where are video captions when you need them? They now appear automatically on videos uploaded from today. Android and iOS: Automatic subtitles will be displayed in the tweet video without sound; you can leave them on when the sound is turned on through the settings of your device. For the web version: use the "CC" button to turn on / off. "

But as with adding voice tweets, it was not without its problems. It is not yet possible to inform Twitter technical support about inaccuracies in the subtitles and to correct them. But I am glad that the function will be available for most of the world's languages. However, it is not yet clear whether users will be allowed to add subtitles to videos on their own. Previously, the service launched vertical videos in test mode.
