Batman Easter Egg Appears in Google Search

In connection with the imminent premiere of the film "Batman" directed by Matt Reeves, an "Easter egg" with the superhero of the DC universe has appeared in the Google search engine, CNET reports.

For example, when you search for "Gotham City" or "Bruce Wayne," a clickable spotlight known as the "Batsignal" appears in the top left corner of the page or in the right sidebar. When you click on it, the spotlight lights up, and the screen is filled with fog. Then a grappling hook appears, on which Batman flies from the left side of the screen to the right.

This isn't the first time Google has created comic book easter eggs. For example, in 2019, the infinity gauntlet of Thanos, the main villain of Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, appeared in the search engine. When the glove was pressed, half of the search results were randomly erased, referring to the plot of the films in which Thanos, using the glove and infinity stones, randomly destroyed half of the universe with a snap of his fingers.

Previously, she said that Google Maps users found a child in a trash can.
