Avito ranked first in terms of attendance in the SimilarWeb rating among message boards

The analytical platform SimilarWeb presented the rating of the most visited services for placing ads in the world, which was topped by Avito in November. Previously, the first place on this list was occupied by the American Craiglist.

SimilarWeb reports that the total number of visits to the Avito website was 279.6 million, with the average time that users spent on the resource was 11 minutes. During this time period, visitors viewed 11.72 pages with ads.

In November, Craiglist was visited 276.92 million times, spent an average of 8 minutes on the resource and managed to view 10.19 pages. The service has long been ranked first in the SimilarWeb rating.

On the third list of the service is the French classifier Leboncoin. It was visited by 139.35 million with an average time spent on the resource of 11 minutes. During this time, users have time to view 12.29 pages.

Avito also became the leader in terms of the number of ads - more than 86 million active publications. Craiglist does not provide information on the number of ads.

Avito reached 14th place in the e-commerce and shopping rating.

According to the analytical service App Annie, the Avito app last month topped the top in terms of the number of active users, time and sessions among the apps related to purchases. Experts say that Avito's success is due to the fact that through the service one can not only purchase, but also sell goods.

More than 700 thousand publications about the sale of goods are uploaded to Avito every day, and six transactions are concluded every second. The mobile audience is classified as 78% of the total number of users. The company reports that almost 50 million people are in contact on the platform in the categories of Goods, Real Estate, Services, Work and Auto.

In early October, the FAS blocked the purchase of Avito, an aggregator of ads for the sale and lease of real estate CIAN. Anti-monopoly experts believe that the merger will limit competition in the market.
