Almaz-Antey has developed a telemedicine system for remote medical consultations

The Almaz-Antey EKR concern has developed a telemedicine system, which is designed to provide remote medical assistance, reports TASS with reference to the holding's deputy general director for production and technological policy, Alexander Vedrov.

According to Vedrov, the system was developed for consultations in the "doctor-doctor" mode by qualified medical personnel and a council of doctors. The system is built on a modular basis and can be integrated with any medical regional systems. Telemedicine service includes in the core and specialized hardware and software systems for surgery, therapy, diagnostics and dispensary observation, infection surveillance, ambulance teams.

Vedrov noted that the modular principle allows flexible selection and customization of functionality depending on the needs of the region and a particular medical organization. The use of the service will reduce the burden on medical personnel and ensure the safety of both patients and medical workers, the deputy general director assures.

The representative of the concern also recalled that the holding has developed the COVID-MULTIVOX software module for diagnosing the degree of lung damage in COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases. It was created jointly with partners - the Gammamed group of companies and the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Now the module is successfully used in medical institutions in Moscow: including in the 52nd City Clinical Hospital, where its clinical use is carried out to predict the dynamics and outcome of lung lesions, Vedrov said.
