Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman suggests that after the release of the iPhone SE 2022, the current iPhone SE will drop in price from $400 to $200 in the US. This is not too difficult, Gurman says, as third-party sellers already offer the current iPhone SE for less than $200, and there are plenty of refurbished models on the market. The $200 iPhone could be a hit in emerging markets, plus it would be a model for those who don't need 5G connectivity and who don't want the $1,000 iPhone 13.
