World's fastest smartphone charger unveiled

The Chinese brand Realme, as part of the MWC 2022 exhibition, introduced UltraDart fast charging, capable of charging gadgets with a power of 100 to 200 W, according to the GSMArena portal.

It was also announced that the first smartphone that uses UltraDart, the Realme GT Neo3, will be released soon and will charge at 150W.

Existing Realme gadgets using older versions of Dart Charge charge between 18W and 65W. The best ones can be fully charged in 35 minutes. UltraDart will be even faster, providing a 0 to 50% charge in just 5 minutes.

It is stated that the temperature of the battery during such charging does not rise above 43 degrees Celsius, even while using a smartphone. The company guarantees that the batteries will retain 80% of their capacity after more than 1,000 full charge cycles.

The timing of the announcement of a smartphone with 200W charging is not reported, as well as the exact date of the presentation of Realme GT Neo3.
