YouTube is testing a new interface for mobile

Google has begun testing an update for the mobile version of the popular YouTube video platform.

While the rest of the service has been updated, the user interface of the YouTube channel home page has remained unchanged. Now the changes have affected this very area.

The main page of the channel looks different - with a center-aligned header section. A new block has appeared under the "Subscribe" button, which includes not only the number of channel subscribers, but also the number of videos uploaded to the channel. There is also a place for a brief description of the channel, through which you can go to the About section with full information about the owner of the channel.

The new interface is not yet available to all users. Perhaps this is just testing on a separate group of users, but the innovation is quite consistent with recent changes in other sections of the service.
