SpaceX launched 52 Starlink satellites into orbit and set two records along the way

SpaceX today launched another 52 Starlink satellite group into orbit. Now the Starlink group has 1,942 aircraft. And if we take into account the two prototypes (Microsat-2A and Microsat-2B) launched into space in February 2018, then there are already 1944. Another launch of the Falcon 9 rocket, and the number of Starlink satellites in orbit will come close to two thousand.

Meanwhile, this Falcon 9 launch was twice a record. First, the rocket was used 11 times in a row. Secondly, this mission turned out to be the 29th in the current year. The previous record - 26 Falcon 9 flights - was set in 2020. But SpaceX has two more missions scheduled before the end of the year, and it looks like the company will end this year with a record 31 Falcon 9 launches.
