On March 15, 2022, Sber announced the sale of smart TVs under the Sber brand. The devices run on the Salyut TV operating system, and virtual assistants from Sberbank are installed there.
The production and distribution of TV from Sberbank is handled by the M.Video-Eldorado Group. Currently, M.Video, Eldorado and SberMegaMarket offer four models of Sber smart TVs with a frameless design, 4K UHD resolution and a choice of diagonals: 43", 50", 55" and 65".
According to the certificate and instructions for the TV, the devices themselves are made at the Vityaz plant in Belarus. There should also be another 75" model, but it is not for sale.
The Sber TV remote control, the device can also be controlled by voice.
Sber TV has a built-in cloud gaming service so you don't have to buy a computer or game console. To use it, you need a subscription and fast internet access. Also, through Sber TV, you can control various devices of the smart home system, listen to music, watch news and surf the Internet.
Sber smart TVs are tested and updated by specialists from SberDevices, a separate IT division of Sber. Previously, the company sold third-party TVs with Salyut TV OS installed.
On February 19, 2021, Sber announced the launch of a smart home platform. Smart lamps and a smart socket under the Sber brand went on sale. These devices can be controlled via a Wi-Fi network by voice or via a touch interface using a smartphone with the Sber Salut app, as well as via the SberPortal multimedia display and SberBox TV set-top box. Sber smart devices work in conjunction with Salyut family voice assistants via the Internet or locally.
