There was a modification of the domestic smartphone Ayya T1 on Aurora OS

Rostec and Open Mobile Platform (developers of Aurora) told CNews about the appearance of the domestic Ayya T1 trustphone on the Russian Aurora OS instead of Android. Smartphone for trusted communication is designed for the corporate and public sectors and is not available to private users. The smartphone is manufactured by the Smartecosystem company, which Rostec controls through the Avtomatika concern and the Scale Research Institute.

As CNews points out, an increased level of privacy is provided by the option to hardware-disable cameras and microphones using a button on the side. In the mode of blocked audio and video sensors, access to the Internet is preserved. The specifications of the smartphone are as follows:

based on the 12-nm eight-core Taiwanese MediaTek Helio P70 chipset (the smartphone was developed with an eye on the Russian Skif processor);

The trustphone comes with a charging cable, a power supply, a headset, a case and a protective glass for the display.

The decision to limit the sale of the trustphone to individuals was made by the Open Mobile Platform (OMP). It is she who determines the distribution policy of her OS, and currently sells her system only in the corporate or government markets.

The cost of the modified smartphone Ayya T1 is not specified. But its predecessor on Android is sold in retail chains at an average price of 19 thousand rubles. According to a representative of Smartecosystems, the cost of the new model will “obviously increase compared to the Android version, depending on the requirements of specific customers. I believe that the cost of the phone will be a little higher, within a few thousand rubles.
