Launch vehicle:

Soyuz-2.1a is a three-stage medium-class launch vehicle for launching spacecraft, including manned spacecraft of the Soyuz series. It is one of the modifications of the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle family, developed by upgrading the Soyuz-U launch vehicle.

Payload:

Manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-21. Soyuz MS is the latest (sixth) modification of the Soyuz spacecraft. The crew consists of three cosmonauts. The ship will be used for manned flights to the ISS until it is replaced by a new generation ship. This ship has been modified to be controlled by one astronaut. An additional 150 kg of cargo was delivered to the ISS.

Personal opinion:

The first manned launch of this year. The first completely Russian crew of a manned spacecraft during flights to the ISS (previously there were exchange flights and delivery of American astronauts for money).

An interesting and eventful expedition with the planned seven exits of astronauts to work in open space. Basically, to prepare for the full-fledged work of the Science module.
