Russia launched a social network for the sad - Grustnogram

Russian developers introduced the Sadnogram social network, which automatically applies a black-and-white filter to published photos. As the creators explain, this will allow sharing impressions in difficult times.

One of the founders of the project, Alexander Tokarev, said that the Sadnogram prototype was created in a week. Four people are working on it, including two freelance programmers.

So far, only the web version of "Grustnogram" is available, but closer to the end of the week, the application may be released on Google Play and the App Store.

The developers declare that their project is non-commercial.

After registering in Sadnogram, you can follow other users, use the "Search for sad compatriots" option, and leave comments under the photo. Instead of a like, the social network uses a broken heart. The project's website reads: "Post sad yourself, show sad others, be sad together."

“We are very sad that many high-quality and popular services stop working in Russia for various reasons. And it’s even sadder from what rare slag they sometimes try to pass off as import substitution. We created Sadnogram to grieve about it together and support each other,” Tokarev said.

Ivan Semkin, co-founder of the project, adds that the developers wanted to show what a service for compatriots might look like in the current realities.

Today, the developers of the domestic analogue of Instagram** "Rossgram" published a video with a presentation of the social network's mobile application. But you won’t be able to download the application and get acquainted with it: it is not yet available for use. At the same time, the authors earlier promised that Rossgram would be launched on March 28 on Android and iOS for bloggers and partners.
