MKB develops innovative digital solutions to improve customer service

On March 16, Moscow Credit Bank (MKB) and GenerationS held a demo day as part of the MKB Reactor business accelerator. The first pool of fintech startups that successfully passed the acceleration stage presented their projects.

The projects proposed for evaluation by the jury are aimed at improving the bank's customer service and automating processes: a video analytics system in offices, a robotic system for customer calls, a system for analyzing conversations with customers in a contact center, and others.

IBC will continue to work with all finalists, allocating the necessary funds to complete the pilot projects. Based on the results, projects will be identified that will have the opportunity for long-term cooperation with the bank.

“We plan to hold demo days as part of our accelerator on a regular basis, since all current start-up support levels will at least remain at the current level or will be revised upwards by us. Business units are now primarily responding to a large amount of ongoing changes, so the bank's innovation team faces a very important task of promptly finding solutions for these changes,” commented Sergey Putyatinsky, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the MCB.

“Together with the MKB team, we managed to implement a large-scale project that involved not only the bank, but also its subsidiaries. This significantly expanded the capabilities of the accelerator participants - a number of pilot projects are already being implemented, and some startups solve several problems at once. We are confident that thanks to the innovative technologies offered by startups, the processes at the IBC will become even more convenient for customers,” said Ekaterina Petrova, Director of GenerationS.

Participants of the MKB Reactor accelerator:

KD-systems (Khimki) - a robotic system for receiving incoming or making outgoing calls;

Karma (Moscow) – lead search, scoring according to the risk model agreed with the bank, underwriting, origination, maintenance, collection;

"People's Choice Award for Best Pitch" - eKassir.

The MKB Reactor accelerator, whose goal is to find breakthrough innovative digital solutions to improve the bank's customer service, was launched in September 2021.

Demoday was preceded by an acceleration stage, within which startups implemented pilot projects, some of them have already found business customers, a number of companies have signed long-term contracts for pilot projects. Their results will be evaluated in mid-2022.
