[update from 31.03 — part 2] The original list of malware, ransomware and other open source projects

I am Dmitry Simonov, founder of the Techdir Club, who published and maintains the original list of issues related to the politicized Open Source.

UPDATE dated March 31, 2022: the entire file has been completely reworked: duplicates have been removed, categories have been corrected, and the overall order has been put in order. New lines on each sheet are marked with a yellow background. Now the file is easier to read!

What came in this update from absolutely trash:

An anonymous application came in that the Alfabank database was leaked and distributed in telegram channels. no details (

The Ukrainian company saasjet sells paid Jira plugins. Blocked access to the site from the Russian Federation. Install gives, and then blocks by IP. On their website, they report that they are helping the IT army of Ukraine to hack resources in the Russian Federation.

namecheap (nc, web hosting)

Initially, they promised to remove all domains registered by Russians, as well as suspend hosting and mail for domains in the Belarusian and Russian zones. Later they made an exception for the opposition media, but promised:

block payments from Russian cards and with Russian postal addresses

n support, do not respond to tickets from users with Russian mailing addresses

ban hosting and mail for domains .ru, .xn--p1ai (rf), .by, .xn--90ais (bel), .su

In addition, the company's founder, Richard Kirkendall, has time to publish a couple of anti-Russian slogans on Twitter, and the company's support contradicts itself on Twitter and by e-mail. It is worth noting that although the domains were not completely removed, this decision led to financial losses for ordinary customers, since we all will have to change hosting and registrar, because even if we want to use Namecheap, we will not be able to pay for services in the future.

Disclaimer:

The list is formed on the basis of submitted applications. On the basis of the same sent applications, erroneously entered entries are deleted. Each application is carefully considered and transferred to the published list.

Neither the list, nor the Techdir Club, nor I personally in any way introduce political overtones into what is happening - we deliberately focus exclusively on the professional activities of technical managers. I suggest that everyone who wants to talk about political and near-political topics find one of the millions of chats that the Internet is now teeming with in all social networks. In the Techdir Club, you will be banned for any near-political topics.

If you want to add (or refute) information to the list, this can be done through a special form.
