According to PC Gamer, Devolver Digital fully supported the decision of the developers and Four Quarters to allow Russian users to use the pirated version of Loop Hero without sanctions.

“Devolver Digital fully supports Four Quarters during this incredibly challenging period. We have been in constant communication with the team to help them where possible and have been warned of this decision of theirs in advance and we support it 100%,” said Devolver Digital.

On March 27, the Four Quarters studio allowed Russian users who encountered problems with replenishing their wallet on Steam and eShop (Switch) to use the pirated version of the Loop Hero game without sanctions from their side. The developers even posted in their message a link to the desired game torrent and refused to accept a donation from the players for this solution.
