Prices will rise: iPhone 14 production will begin in July

According to the latest news from DigiTimes, the supply of components for the iPhone 14 series smartphones is already in full swing. Small-scale trial production will begin next month, and large-scale mass production will begin in August. At the same time, suppliers confirm the increase in prices.

This year, the lineup will include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max should ditch the notches in favor of two cutouts.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max screens are expected to use adaptive refresh rate technology, which automatically adjusts the screen refresh rate based on what is displayed on the screen. This ensures smooth operation and saves energy. In addition, the iPhone 14 Pro will support always-on display, allowing users to view various widgets on the lock screen without the screen lighting up.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will use last year's Apple A15 single-chip system, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be based on the new Apple A16 mobile platform. In terms of cameras, the Pro Max models will get a 48-megapixel image sensor and support for 8K video.

The iPhone 14 series will be released in September this year.
