306 hp, 87 km mileage on pure electricity and consumption of 1.2 liters of gasoline per 100 km

According to a source, sales of the updated Toyota RAV4 hybrid crossover have started in China. It is easy to distinguish cars from ordinary versions by the company logo with a blue background - this is a characteristic feature of all Toyota hybrids.

Outwardly, the car is practically no different from last year's version, but a new modification has appeared - Luxury 4WD Pro, the standard equipment of which includes a large number of options, including a panoramic roof and a digital instrument panel. Among other optional equipment available for other versions of the car, there is a climate system with a built-in air cleaner that allows you to remove PM2.5 particles, heated rear seats and steering wheel, and an electric boot lid.

The most interesting thing is, of course, the technical part - the power plant. In the initial versions of Urban Pro and Elite Pro, a 264 hp electric motor is installed, it rotates the front wheels. The 18.1 kWh traction battery is charged by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine operating on the Atkinson economy cycle. The maximum mileage on pure electricity is 95 km, the declared consumption is only 1.1 liters per 100 km of track, and it takes 9.1 s for the single-drive versions to accelerate to 100 km / h.

The top all-wheel drive versions already have two electric motors, their total power is 306 hp. These RAV4s accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and can travel up to 87 km on pure electricity. The declared consumption here is a little more, but still scanty in comparison with conventional gasoline and even diesel cars: 1.2 liters per 100 kilometers.

The cheapest hybrid RAV4 is priced at $37,000 in China, while the top-end version is $44,250.
