The latest Zircon hypersonic missile for surface ships of the Russian Navy may be put into service before the end of 2022. This was reported by a source close to the military department of the Russian Federation.

“State tests of the product have been completed, it is expected that in the next five months the surface Zircon will be adopted by the Navy,” he said. There is no official confirmation of these data yet.
