The Belarusian-Chinese joint venture "BelGee", engaged in the SKD assembly of Geely cars, is looking for a supplier of components in Russia.

On July 14, BelGee employees attended an event in the Zhigulevskaya Dolina Technopark, which brought together representatives of automotive component manufacturing companies from the Samara region, including manufacturers of automotive air conditioners, companies engaged in design and engineering, as a whole solutions for the automotive industry, and in the use of alternative fuels.

The meeting was attended by representatives of NAMI, which now owns a stake in Renault Group in AvtoVAZ. Interestingly, AvtoVAZ itself was looking for component suppliers in Asia. There is no information about the success of the search for information yet.

According to unofficial data, BelGee intends to expand its presence in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. In particular, the visit to the Samara region is associated with the decision of one of the Togliatti dealers, who previously sold cars of one of the European brands, to reformat on Geely.
