SpaceX launches 53 Starlink satellites into orbit

SpaceX today launched another Falcon 9 rocket into orbit with Starlink satellites as a payload. This time, 53 satellites were delivered into orbit, seven more than during the last launch just two days ago. True, if the last launch took place from the site of the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, today the Falcon 9 rocket was launched from the cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral (Florida). The launch took place at 09:38 US East Coast time (16:38 Moscow time).

The Starlink network is currently available to users in North America, Europe and Australia. SpaceX estimates that launching a total of 11,000 satellites and putting them into service will cost $10 billion.
