The Akhmat armored car, developed taking into account the experience of a special military operation, was presented at the Army-2022 forum. The chief designer of the Remdizel enterprise, Igor Zarakhovich, said that the new Z-STS ten-seater protected car was created in 25 days.

Its feature is that it has a high class of protection. When creating, a serial chassis was used, and a superstructure was made, similar in protection class to that of the Typhoon armored car.

According to Zarakhovich, Akhmats are assembled only from domestic components. Moreover, their advantage is ease of operation: no complicated training is needed, since the machine does not have any special electronics. The designer also added that armored vehicles will be produced in large batches.

If the Typhoons had a long production cycle, then these machines produce 7-10 times faster. Their task is to produce quickly and a lot.
