Seven people, seven suitcases, seven screens and a range of 1000 km

BYD has begun accepting pre-orders for the Denza D9 luxury minivan, which is available in both hybrid and all-electric powertrains. The price of a new minivan ranges from $48,000 to $67,000.

The electric modification of Denza D9 is built on the BYD 3.0 platform, and the hybrid model is based on the DM-i platform. The hybrid version of the minivan is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine, which is combined with an electric motor and a rear-wheel drive system. The range of this model is from 945 to 1040 km, of which 190 km the car can drive on pure electricity, and fuel consumption does not exceed 6.2 liters per 100 km. The electric version has a range of 620 km and a charging power of 166 kW.

Vehicle dimensions are 5250 x 1960 x 1920 mm with a wheelbase of 3110 mm. The car received a remote opening of the tailgate using UWB wireless technology, captain's chairs on the second row with numerous adjustments and a massage function, a panoramic roof with a large sunroof and even a refrigerator.

The manufacturer claims that the car is designed to comfortably accommodate seven people with the same number of suitcases. The car received seven screens, including three on the front panel: a 10.25-inch instrument panel, a 15.6-inch center display and a projection screen. Two more are on the backs of the front seats and two on the armrests of the second row of seats. The interior trim uses nappa leather and wood.

Deliveries to customers should begin in September.
