Ukraine has created a kamikaze robot with an anti-tank mine

In Ukraine, they announced the creation of a ground robot that can carry an anti-tank mine. The kamikaze robot was named Gnome Kamikaze.

The drone is built on a four-wheeled platform with low ground clearance to drive under wheeled vehicles and armored vehicles. In the cargo compartment of there is an anti-tank mine of the TM-62 type with an explosive charge weighing 7.5 kg and a magnetic fuse triggered by any metal object above it.

In addition, the Gnome Kamikaze can carry a directional anti-personnel mine similar to Claymore mines. According to Ukrainian designers, the robot can be controlled from a distance of about three kilometers using a repeater.

It is believed that the Ukrainian development is the successor to the German Goliath tracked mine from the Second World War. At the same time, German attempts to use self-propelled mines on the Kursk Bulge failed.

The developer is the Ukrainian company Temerland from Zaporozhye, which in June presented the Gnome robotic platform.
