In August, Russian companies began to transfer employees to remote work more often

According to the SuperJob survey, in August the number of Russian organizations that transfer staff to remote work increased. Their number rose to 14%, which is 3% more than in June.

Most often, businesses switch to remote work in Moscow (17%) and St. Petersburg (13%). In the country as a whole, this figure is 12%.

The number of enterprises where more than half of employees work remotely has also increased (up to 15%). Every second company has transferred 10% of its staff to remote work. Most often, IT employees work remotely (in 39% of organizations), as well as employees in the areas of finance (17%) and sales (14%).

In early August, in another SuperJob poll, 38% of Russians said they would accept a pay cut to work from home. Another 39% reported that they were not ready to take a pay cut for the sake of remote work.

Since July, an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 has begun in Russia. The authorities of several regions have already returned the mandatory mask mode. The leaders in the number of cases per day are Moscow and the Moscow Region, as well as St. Petersburg.
